Re-watched Nagisa Oshima’s “Ai No Corrida” (“The Realm of Senses”) from 1976 – probably the first pornographic art movie – after nearly 30 years and liked it very much. Didn’t remember the tenderness of this story, the simple joy of fucking shown.
Never mind the bloody ending. Much more plausible and less disturbing than the average showdown of a Hollywood action movie.
