A little more than six years ago, my beloved elder sister Gabriele fell victim to a vicious heart attack. Today my younger sister, when on a virtual stroll with her little son along old Berlin neighbourhoods, has found the above picture on Google Street View. It was taken half a year before Gabriele’s death, in July 2008, and shows her just around the corner from her apartment, possibly on her birthday. It seems she’s been with us all these years…
